Geb A Ride Inc. operates the Geb A Ride service.
Geb A Ride Inc. collects information needed to review membership applications, administer member accounts, facilitate ride connections, communicate with members, protect the community, and operate Geb A Ride.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Geb A Ride, we may collect:
- Your name, title, telephone number, email address, and home address
- Household-member information included in an application
- Driver and vehicle information, including vehicle description and license-plate information
- Membership status, communication preferences, and driver contact preferences
- CHESED or PAID ride preferences, paid-ride records, and payment status
- For PAID drivers, a payment-method token and limited card details supplied by Sola, such as card brand and last four digits; Geb A Ride Inc. does not store the full card number or security code
- Liability Agreement and Code of Ethics acceptance records
- Community and promotional-message consent
- Saved locations and ride-related location information
- Ride requests, ride offers, passenger or seat information, comments, Ride Codes, matches, cancellations, delays, confirmations, and ride history
- Messages, feedback, complaints, and communications with administrators
- Technical information reasonably required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website and messaging service
How We Use Information
We may use this information to:
- Review and manage membership applications
- Verify email addresses and telephone numbers
- Connect compatible riders and drivers
- Send ride-related messages and account notices
- Display relevant contact, location, vehicle, and ride information to a possible match according to the member’s selected privacy preference
- Maintain ride records and community safety
- Administer the PAID driver program and charge the applicable $15 monthly fee through Sola
- Investigate complaints, disputes, misuse, or safety concerns
- Improve and maintain Geb A Ride
- Send occasional community or promotional messages when the member has separately consented
- Comply with legal obligations and protect members, Geb A Ride Inc., and others
When Information Is Shared
Geb A Ride Inc. may share necessary information with Geb A Ride riders and drivers to facilitate a possible or confirmed ride, subject to the applicable contact preference.
Information may also be processed by service providers that help operate the website, database, email, text messaging, telephone, hosting, security, and administrative systems. These providers may use the information only to provide their services to Geb A Ride Inc.
Payment-card information for PAID drivers is entered directly into Sola’s secure payment system. Sola processes and stores the full card details; Geb A Ride Inc. receives only the information needed to identify the saved payment method and process authorized charges.
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request, investigate fraud or safety concerns, enforce our rules, or protect a person from harm.
Mobile Information
Mobile telephone numbers, text-message opt-in information, and consent records will not be sold. They will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
This restriction does not prevent Geb A Ride Inc. from using service providers that transmit messages on its behalf.
Community and Promotional Messages
Members receive promotional or community messages only when they have separately consented. Consent is optional and is not required to use Geb A Ride. A member may withdraw this consent at any time.
Data Choices
You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting info@gebaride.com.
Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or the administration of completed rides.
Security
Geb A Ride Inc. uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website, database, email system, or messaging service can guarantee complete security.
Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Geb A Ride develops. The current version and its effective date will be posted on the website.
